Time

“Give it time”, “Give him time honey...”, “Time is precious”, “Time is gold”.Time, time, time! that filthy dictator that took control all over our existence; and if someone dares to revolt against it, he remains banished from its court of respected servants. drowning in a well of shame, accused of irresponsibility, immaturity, and even futility.

Since birth, we’ve been put in an enormous race without a break. We run fast before time is up, expecting an award, a championship cup in the end. However, deceived, we find out it’s only death waiting in the finish line.

Disciplinarians, punctual people might find this non-sense because somehow respecting time comforts them. They feel a pleasure whenever they accomplish something in time. A simple glance to the watch gives them the joy that invades a servant’s soul knowing his king’s satisfaction.

Time made humanity accomplish  giant steps but under a sort of blackmail. In fact, Man has been experiencing a wave of stress since ancient civilizations. Enslaved by time, their way of seeing the universe and its dimensions remained limited. You see if dimensions were ice cream; time will be just a flavor, one flavor. I won’t deny its role, its existence. I deeply think time exists, at worst case scenario, dependently of our minds. It exists among other dimensions that will drop our jaws I f only we draw more attention toward it. The human nature always needs a kind of a push up to continue, to produce; For now, it’s the fourth dimension: Time. But if we need to be enslaved for the sake of carrying on, better be a slave of a greater master than...

We always measure time relatively to an event, a motion, a point; such as sunrise, the birth of Jesus, the big bang ...So it might even not have an independent existence.Which lead us  to a question: How can we trust time that much and give it the authority to manage our lives?   We ask ourselves why precisely 24hours, 7days,12months, and 365days? Who decided all this for us? Some ancient Egyptian astronomers, that’s what books can tell. But were they wise enough to make such a big decision? And why no one tried to change a timing system that has been used since more than 3000 years?

But here’s a better question to ask: Am I a fool or are we misunderstanding our whole existence?
