شْكُونْ اللّي ماتْ؟ هامْ قَالُو نوّارَهْ من النّواراتْ ، جُنْدِي رُوحُو في خدْمِةْ البلادْ تِفْنَاتْ ،خِدْمْتُو يحْمِي فينا في الجْبُولَاتْ ،نلقاوهْ يْخَبّشْ بيديهْ وساقِيهْ بشْ يحمينا في الغصراتْ ا يا غَالِي لكْبِيدَةْ عْلِيكْ تشْواتْ و كي جَانَا الخْبرْ سالِتْ الدّمْعاتْ !
والله رَانِي حَايِرْ، سيّبُو الظّالِمْ وغدْرُو الضّميرْ اللي علا حُرْمةْ بْلَادُو ثايرْ و عْلا تْرَابْها من العْدُوْ غَايِرْ، منْظْرُو مذْبُوحْ حْزِنْ عليهْ الطيرْ الطايرْ ، خلّاولو دمّو في الجبلْ امايِرْ ! نبكِي عْلِيكْ بالدّمْ، اللي نَحْرِكْ معشّشْ في قلبُو البغضْ والسّمْ في ليلة رمضانْ في عوضْ ما نتْسامْحُو ونفِرْحُو شُفْنَا الهمّْ والغمّْ والبكية ملاتْ العينْ والفمّ !
